- (continued from previous page)and went in the direction of his own house. The ghost appeared to one of themen who still travelled along the land. It continued walking on the side of the other man but he did not see it. The man to whom it appeared at first saw it all the time and it continued walking with them till they came to within a few perches of their own gate. It then disappeared and the man who had seen the strange form fainted. He had to be carried into the house. He got alright after a while and was none the worse of what he had seen.
