- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)Ceann Eitigh and told the saint that he was under an engagement to his Chief to procure seven servant maids to redeem a mortgage on his land: the day for redemption was approaching, but the tribute was not to be had. The saint seemingly paid no attention to the matter, but on the appointed day the visitor found himself transported to Corcaaguiney where he found waiting him a sufficient sum of money to pay his tribute whereupon he gave thanks to God and St. Fionan for the great favour vouchsafed him.Collected by J.P.
