Ar an leathanach seo

  1. (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)
    (7) Apply dandelion juice to the warts.
    (8) Knot straw, touch warts with knots & then bury the straw in a hole in the ground.
    (9) Make a hole in a potato, put salt in it and when dissolved, rub solution on the wart.
    To cure Ringworm cover it with an ointment made of unsalted butter & burnt straw or else with moist washing-soda.
    To cure Indigestion, swallow about 1/4 teaspoonful of washing-soda every morning before breakfast.
    To cure a Burn (1) cover the wound immediately with bread-soda.
    (2) Cover it with elder leaves & leave them on until the would dries up.
    (3) Cover it with linseed oil in which a piece of Blessed Candle has been melted.
    (4) Cover it with brown paper dipped in cold water.
    To cure Boils, Festerings, Bruises, & Abscesses apply ointment, composed of brown sugar, unsalted butter & soap.
    To cure a Sore Throat:
    1. Wrap a stocking of hot salt around
