On Ash wednesday the people go to the Chapel and get blessed Ashes The people keep Good Friday's eggs until Easter Sunday. On May day they put up a bush and put primroses on it.On St. Martin's day, the people kill a chicken and spill the blood inside and outside the house to keep away sickness because St. martin died a Martyrs death. On Hallow E'en the children get three saucers and put clay on one, a ring on another, and water on the other. Then one person is blindfolded and if he leaves his hand on the water he will go across the sea, if he leaves his hand on the clay he will go down in the grave and if he leaves his hand on the ring he will be married. They also make a cake put a ring in it and who ever gets the ring will be married the first. The bells rung on New years Eve in all the big towns.
