- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)this time, as he mother was much better he decided to return to his home and family. He started out through the fields at a late hour, and being a man of much experience he did not mind the thought of passing through the New Farm. So he journeyed on steadily until he came to the high wall which surrounded the dreary place. He had to walk by this wall for some time as the path ran up close to it. When the man had walked by this wall for some time he got a notion that some one was walking inside the wall with him. He continued on walking until he came to a gap in the wall and then he suddenly turned round and lo! he beheld a num clothed in black, but deadly pale staring at him through the gap. For a moment he stared before him in wild-eyed terror and amazment He then set out to run and ran untill he reached a small wooden bridge where he sat down to rest. When he regained strength and courage he strode to the nearest house here he remained until the next morning. This story is(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
