- Last Summer, a party of girls and myself visited Killeshin, one of the most ancient ruins in the county. Situated on an immense hill, this old ruin dates back to the sixth century. It consists of a picturesque gateway - enclosed in the front wall of the chapel, - which long ago was the entrance to the chapel. A beautiful doorway inside this is the principal feature.
