- One night a priest out of this town was going on a sick call. There were no motors and the priest had a man driving him in an old jaunting car. The horse stopped at a certain place and would not go any further. The driver put a coat over the horse's head still it would not move. This was on the church hill. The priest got out of the car and took his whip with him and beat the road along and turned down a lane. He came back and the horse went on. The priest told the man that if he had seen what the horse had seen he would not go either.
