A Song
“I took the wrong hat. I am sorry for that.”
Leo O'Tooles Hat. I took the wrong hat.
I am sorry for that.
Please don't refuse me, to excuse me.
Yet it was'nt too fair.
You must think me bold.
With your head all so bare,
Going home in the cold
You must have felt flat
Without any hat,
Oh I thoguth you'd be lost
Going home in the frost.
Why I could get no rest
Thinking of what to do best
Thinking of you.
And what you would do,
All out in your hair.
In the cold mountain air.
The trick was a shame but I am to blame.
By its size I should have known It was'nt my own.
When I put on my head.
It was like a hayshed.
With the size of the crown,
It near got me down.
It future when going on a mountain path.
I would advise you not to wear any hat.(continues on next page)- Collector
