    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    On May Eve the old people used to have a "May bush" in the yard and the used to decorate it with flowers and they went around it praying. Another custom they had was to shake blessed water on their crops and stock the people around here do that still.
    On Christmas Eve the people put up holly in their home. Long ago there used to be mid-night Mass at twelve o'clock around here and all the old people used to go to it. In the cities it is still the custom.
    On Palm Sunday the people get palm in the chapel and bring it home and hang it up in their homes. Some people hang it in the cowhouse to bring luck.
