- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)In older times there was a chapel too but now nothing remains of it. But there is a vault in which it is said Billy Byrne of Ballymanus was buried, but lately this vault has been closed.
this graveyard too is entered by crossing a field from the road.
From time to time an old inhabitant is still buried there. - A WellIn Ballygobbin, near Aughavannagh there is a bog where the local people used cut their turf. Near some of the turf banks is a well which even in the driest weather does not dry up and the water is always cool.
I have heard it said that a drink of the water would keep off the hunger for a whole day.
This well is sometimes called St. Gobbin's Well.
Now the bog belongs to the Forestry Department.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
