- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)A man returning from a 'eeilidhe' could not find his own hall door. He thought he was in the garden all the time. When tired of walking around the garden, he said to himself, 'I will put down a piece of branch here, and tomorrow I will know where I am walking'.
This he did and to his great astonishment found he was walking round the roof of the house all the time. Small wonder he could not find the hall door.
A woman was walking through some lonely fields on her farm, these fields are covered with furze and rocks, at dark. Soon she heard a rumbling noise, it sounded like rolling of a barrel.
It seemed to start at the head of the field and continued rolling for about half a mile along the ditch. It is said that those fields are haunted anyhow . Many people long ago used to tell of the same occurrence, but it has not been head lately. Not many people go through these fields at night, in ease of hearing of anything of this description.- Bailitheoir
