- Nowadays when a person suffers from any ailment or disease he or she visits the local doctor, dentist or chemist and old cures by plants and herbs are rarely practised.
Long ago when a person suffered from any disease or ailment he went to the nearest person who was supposed to have the cure of that particular disease or ailment, but whether the practice of the old cure was the cause of his recovery or not it was generally believed that it was.
