The people did not go to the towns often so they brought a good supply with them and they hung them in the chimney to preserve them.They are eggs on Easter Sunday out in the open air. They lit a fire and then they boiled their eggs and each one partook of the meal this was known as eating the "cludog". On Hallow Eve the people had bread made from potatoes called "boxty".Information is general among natives at present living in district.
