    The wood pigeons are very numerous in this part of the country. They build their nests in the hollows of trees or amongst ivy on top of a tree. Each female bird lays only three eggs. These birds are not favourites with farmers as they destroy their plants.
    Crows are also numerous in this part of the country. These birds are very destructive to farm products also. They commence building their nests about the first of February and it is very amusing to watch them gathering small sticks and bringing them to
