- I live in the townland of Lisduff and in the Maghera district. It is in the barony of Castleraghan.
There are twelve families in my native townland and about forty five persons (adult) The most common name is "Tobin" The land is flat and fairly good.
Lisduff borders on the main road which runs from Cavan to Dublin. There is a post-office, four grocer's shops and a Catholic Church in it. Drapery and minerals are obtainable in the shops also so that Lisduff is fast developing into a village
