Ar an leathanach seo
- Shops were not as common in olden times as they are nowadays. People had to go to the nearest town to make purchases. Buying and selling was not carried on after Mass.
Money was not always given for goods. Sometimes corn and potatoes are given in exchange for goods. Sometimes labour was given for goods. "Getting tick" means getting things on credit.
