- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)told her servants to lock the well but they followed and when the witch came home the well was in a big lake and her house was drowned. She then went to Bealaha Fort where she lived for a time, while she was there anyone who passed the fort by night was sure to be killed. So this night a man was passing the fort the witch came out and jumped up behind the man on the horse, the man took a big knife out of his pocket and stuck it through her heart and killed her. She then said "I'll leave it where it is stuck". She then fell to the ground and formed into a heap of jelly. The people of the place were glad(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
