Ar an leathanach seo
- There are two forges in the Parish. The smiths are Mr Wilson and Mr Grennan. They have been smiths for many years. The forges are situated near cross-roads.The door is shaped like a horse- shoe in Mr Wilson's. There is one fire-place in each of the forges. The bellow are made from animal's skins and at the end of the handle there is a cow's horn. The smiths work is to shoe horses and asses.His implements are a rasp, three sets of hammers, knives, and anvil and pincers.When shoeing a cart this work is done out of doors. A local belief of the forge-water is that if you drink(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
