It is said that she met a violent death in Cork years afterwards. She was drunk and fell headlong into a cellar and broke her neck. She was brought home the Fethard and buried in the local graveyard. And that very night, all the other graves and their occupants moved across to the other side of the road and to this very day you can see the graveyard on one side of the road and the lone corner of Moll Dunlea on the other.
Not only Moll Dunlea but all the gentry who were sitting on the Azzizes met with peculiar ends. Ponsoby of Kilcooley died barking like a dog and ill luck followed the others for many a year after.
There is an interesting relic of Father Sheehy in this Parish of Killenaule. It is his Rosary Beads. It is about three feet in length and the beads are of some metal material. It was in the collection of a Cork doctor who had the hobby of collecting things of historical interest. On his death(continues on next page)
