on the run in Wexford after this rebellion.O'Duffy found himself in the Saltee Islands and continued to escape to France. He afterwards returned to Ireland ,and died there.It is not known for certain where he is buried.A monument is erected to his memory in Clooney Churchyard.The unveiling of the monument took place on Saint Stephen's Day 1898.
Descendants of his were Kents.that kept a Confectionery Shop In Kilkee up to twenty years ago.
