- 1) Tobar Iosán is in Kilcolgan. Long ago the people used to pay visits to that well to get sick children cured. They used to throw a few leaves into the water. If the leaves floated out the child would not be cured, but if the leaves came back the child would be cured.
2) Tobar Beannuighthe is a very holy well in Aran, Kilcolgan named after a Saint who lived there long ago. Formerly the people used never use the water for anything but for churning and washing butter.
3) Caladh na MónaThere used turf be landed on that shore and turf was drawn by the boreen that passes my house.
4) Boithrín Laothrachanis a boreen leading to Drumacoo; it is in Ballinderreen, Kilcolgan Co. Galway.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
