  1. (continued from previous page)
One night a man was coming home late at night after cutting sticks in a wood. He met a fairy and she asked him why was he so late out at night and he said that he was cutting trees trying to get some money. He had a can with him and she told him to take off the lid and when he did it was full with gold. He told her to hold the can till he returned with a pail. When he returned the fairy was gone and when he looked into the can there was nothing in it.
