    two or three feet wide in bottom. The sides are round. The various parts are, the churn, the staff and the cover. About twice each week in Summer butter is made and about once a fortnight in the Winter. Women that usually do the churning. When strangers come in while the churning is going on they take a greas. The churning is done by the hand. There is no mark on the side or bottom of the churn.
