    on the hill and on a September evening about 4.30 pm, he sat down to rest at the top of Com-shin-awn cliff. he heard some rumbling noise in the lake. it was terrifying and to his surprise he saw a white animal in appearance like a horse come to the surface three times, swim around and disappear. According to tradition this animal comes to the surface every seven years.
    Anglers go to the lake to fish, but the ugliest trout in all Ireland are found there,
