   I give herewith the lament on Bob Weldon's death, written by his son, the late John Weldon R.I.P.

   1. The beauties of Summer are over
   The Winter is approaching again
   And softly the sunshine is peeping
   Through the trees at the back of the mill

   2. There the blackbird will sing in the evening
   And go peaceful to rest when it's dark
   For he who disturbed them when sleeping
   Is gone and will never come back.

   3. Now his home is vacant and lonely
   But the swallows will chat on the sill
   They will mourn his loss when in Summer they cross
   To the foot of the Comeragh Hills.

   4. On Sunday when he would feel lonely
