    I knew a man and many of you knew him, too, Philip Kennedy of Clochar...

    I knew a man + woman of [?] knew him, too, Philip Kennedy of Clochan, Clonoulty. He had a cure for the FARCY - there is no knowing all the horses he cured. The priest put him from curing any more. The priest had a valuable hunter and he got the farcy and was very bad with it. He sent for Kennedy 3 times but Kennedy knew what he wanted and would not come. At last he come out with the vestments on him and called Kennedy.
    "I can't cure your horse, says he. You prevented me from curing other peoples' horses
