  1. Long ago there lived a rich lady in Fair St. She had plenty of money and jewelry. When she died she had a beautiful ring on her finger. The butler knowing this went to the graveyard that night, opened the coffin and tried his best go get off the ring. He found it very difficult so he took out his pen-knife and cut the finger to get the ring off. The blood rushed forth and she sat up in the coffin. The butler fled and was never seen or heard of again. What a surprise her husband got when she
