  1. We have a churn at home. It is about three ft. high on ft and a half wide. There is a mark on the top of the churn to tell where the lid should be set.
    A churning is made three times a week. If a stranger came in while the churning was being made he or she would have to help with the churning lest the butter would be brought. It takes half an hour in Summer a ? in witer to make a churning. When the butter is on the dash we know the churning is made. There was a family living in Churchfield long ago and they
