- (continued from previous page)Boiled parsley is a cure for a cut. Black wool and pepper is an old cure for earache. There is a small plant called "Slanlus" which grows on the roadside, and is said to be a cure for bleeding toes.
The old practise of rubbing a stye in the eye with a gold ring is said to be a good and speedy cure. Boiled nettles are a cure for measles.
