  1. Once there lived a man in Clooninshin whose name was George Campbell.
    His residence was near a sandpit now owned by a man named Richard Durkan.
    His grandaughter Noireen lived with him and she was in sane.
    The old man had nine pounds saved for his burial.
    One night Noireen stole the money and the old man was in a bad way about it.
    He had suspision on the girl but he was not sure.
    At that time swearing by the skull was very common among the people.
