    There is a place in Doonamona called Póllapuca. It is said that there was a Ghost there some time ago.

    There is a place in Doonamona called Póllapuchá. It is said that there was a ghost there some time ago. When the people used to be coming from visiting at late hours of the night they would hear noises like if a lot of cattle were running through water.
    Some other nights they would be heard laughing, crying or singing. One night a man was coming home alone and it was about one O' clock. He saw a man in white clothes standing along the ditch he spoke to him but got no answer he spoke again and got no reply.
