  1. Long ago the people where not accustomed to footwear such as we have now. They had no boots or shoes or clogs but they wore woollen stockings.
    A good many people wear clogs now especially farmers. They are very warm foot wear. Clogs were worn in England before they were worn in this country. The men going to England wore them there and then they were brought to Ireland.
    A good many farmers are able to make a pair of clogs. Some farmers make clog soles; then they
