  1. Nellie Loose - connected with Brunnocks - had a candle factory here in the town - also one for blankets and quilts. There were five or six weavers there. She had a Mill in Kiladangan and two or three horses on the road going to Waterford.
    There were weavers - hacklers - or flax scutchers.
    Jamie Quinn's people and McGrath in Allen St. were hacklers.
    The báneens the Waterford people wore were different from those worn by the Cappoquin people. The former had straps in front.
    There were five or six coopers, Folleys, Kielys, three blacksmiths, Cook St. people.
