- It is said that if a priest died while he was saying mass, he would have to come back and finish it
One night two two boy scouts were sleeping in an old castle alone. About twelve o'clock that night they heard a voice saying.
"Is there any one here to serve mass."
The boys answered:-
"Yes"
Then they saw an old priest go into the vestry, and then he came out on the altar prepared for mass. Then they served his mass and when it was over the priest disappeared again and was seen no more,
One day a priest and his servant boy were driving along along and they passed a big house. The owner of this house was a man named Wroughton.
The servant boy asked the priest where was that man now.
The priest said he was in hell.
A man working on the road over heard them. He went and told this man's son what the priest had said.
