    Juggies Well
This well is on the grounds of Monkstown Hospital. Long ago the fishermen used carry their "breakers" (small barrels) to the well and fill them with water. Many a fight took place in the Vicinity of the abovenamed well. Some poor men used earn their living by filling barrels of water and selling it at a halfpenny a Bucket to the Gentry. The well is now covered (w) in and water and is drawn from it by pipes.
