The Ghosts in the garden is played as follows. One girl acts as mother and she sends another girl out into the garden. While she is out she sees a ghost, who tells her to get him a needle and thread. She asks him what he wants the needle and thread for and he says to sew his bag. He then says that he wants to fill his bag with sand. He is asked what he wants the sand for and he tells them he wants it to sharpen his knife. Then he enlightens them that(continues on next page)
