    The first person caught is then blindfolded and the games goes on.
    At play-time at school “The Grand Old Duke” is a great favourite. Two rows of children stand in opposite lines. The two standing at the top clasp hands and march down and then up the center. They then turn in different directions followed by their respective lines. At the end of the row they hold their hands high and the players pass through. They remain at the end of the row, and the net couple do like-wise. All during the game they sing:-
    “The Grand Old Duke of York,
    He had ten thousand men,
    He marched them up to the top of
    The hill
    And he marched them down again.
    And when they were up they were up
    And when they were down they were down,
    And when they were only half-way up,
    They were neither up nor down.”
    “Four corners” is played with five players. Four of them rush for corners and the remaining one is the “fool.” They exchange
