  1. Long ago there were hardly any boots worn unless in winter. The children go on bare feet in summer not but not in winter. Some people never were boots at all. After washing their feet the people throw out the water. There are no boots made in my district, but there is a man in my district that repairs the boots. Clogs were worn long ago but they are not worn now. Leather is not made in my district.
