    “The Big Fields” to the right of the main road overlooking lake-grazing land
    “Lough Meadows” at edge of lake also grazing
    "Lowry's Town" A stretch of land in front of castle.
    "The Black Gardens" at back of Castle to the right of road, near mill.
    "Prue's Field" at western end of Castle grounds, called after a man who worked there.
    "The Wild Cat's Hole" is a cave on the farm of W. G. Williamson, Friary. It is quite close to the School.
    "The Fox's Hole" is another cave on the farm of James Crawford Thrushbank.
