    the robin in the same way, and met the same bad end. A year after the third son whose name was Conn started off. When he sat down to eat his dinner, up came the little robin, and asked him for crumbs. Conn shared his cake with him. In return the robin gave him a magic belt, and told him if ever he met an enemy or got into trouble to throw the belt round the enemy's neck and it would choke the enemy. He got employment with a magician. His first day's work was to plough a field. He had only started when up out of the ground came a serpent. Conn took of his belt, and threw it round the serpent's neck crying "Squeeze, Squeeze, my little belt". The belt circled round the serpent's neck, and
