    said Donal. "You have eight of them", said the fairy. "I have two good horses", said Donal. "You have and you have four of them". I am only fifty years", said Donal. "You are a hundred of them", said the little fairy. When the man of the house heard this he showed them that they were no longer welcome. So Donal and his companion left the house. On his way home Donal told the little man that he had done very well only he should not have doubled his age. Donal never went on the same errand again.
