  1. Story

Once upon a time a man lived in Devlinreagh, whose name was Eddie Dogherty.

Once upon a time a man lived in Devlinreagh, whose name was Eddie Dogherty he died about twenty ago.
He was the best man at running in Donegal people used to go to his house to see him dancing, some people used to call him "the bold fellow", because when he was finished dancing the people used to say "my bold fellow".
There was another man in Gortnabrade who was good at running but he was not as good as the man from Devlinreagh.
He won a lot of races but after he won a race in Derry, they would not let him run any more because he would not join the Sporting Club, so that ended his racing
He never danced only at his home.
