  2. The crop of corn is set on potato or turnip ground. First the land is ploughed and harrowed. Then the farmer sows the corn with a fiddle or sometimes with his hand. The corn is sown about Mach or April. Whenever it is sowed it gets a second harrowing. Then it is left there until the breird comes on it and then it is rolled. Then it is left there until it is ripe in the harvest.
