    Than the lovely recess in the valley of Fahan
    Where the Swilly's dark waves roar when the winds are at rest
    Reflects with brown lustre oer the wild mountains blest.
    Go honour the name of O Donnell the brave
    The valiant O Doherty who now sleeps in his grave
    With a long of repose by nature hand drawn
    Lies blooming and freshning in the valley of Fahan
