    There is a holy well at the top of the Gap of Mam Mór called Colmcille's Well and there is a turas there each year also. This custom has been on for hundreds of years.
    Near the well there are seven heaps of stones called the seven beds. The turas can be made between the 15th of August and the 8th of September. Each person who makes the turas makes it in the bare feet. While walking around each bed seven Our Fathers and seven Hail Marys are said.
    When the prayers are said three small stones are lifted and thrown upon each bed and In the Name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Ghost are said. Then the turas is finished up at the well where the Rosary is recited.
