  1. Bird Lore
    The following wild birds live around the district. The thrush, robin, crow, sparrow stare, blackbird, hawk, tomtit, swallow, cuckoo, corncrake, lark, gold finch, snipe, seagull, swan, curlew, yellow hammer.
    Some of these birds leave this country at the end of the summer and go away to another where it is summer there. The robin, the crow, the thrush the lark, the blackbird, the hawk, the snipe, the swan, and the seagull stay in Ireland the whole year round.
    The robin builds its nest in a bush or in an old tin. The crow builds its nest on the top of a tree. The thrush builds
