    Making of Candles
    Patrick Burke, Teeragh, Caherlistrane, Co. Galway, was able to make candles. He used to make the from rushes and tallow. He used to supply the village with them and he used to get threehalfpence for every pair. He died about the year 1843 and he was then eighty four years.
