  1. There was a man once and he was living in this district. His name was Michael Corley. He was a great Irish speaker and he used to play the bag-pipes. He used to go about the County of Galway playing the bag-pipes. It is for the rich people he used to be playing for. He played for Princess Mary in Portumna. He also played for Lord Westmeath. He used not wait too long talking to people he would say "my time is precious"
    He used also play for the pupils in the schools. He used to get money from the teachers.
