The fragrance of June blooming early
With Flora's proud mantle be spread
    With violets, cowslips and daisies
And lilies and roses so red.
It is healing to many diseases
    Consumption at shortness of breath.

    The beautiful salmon comes prancing
Advancing the foot of the rock.
    Numbers of warbling songsters
In concert around it do flock.
The chittering prate of the parrot
The blackbird, the partridge and quail.

    Together in under one spot
