The implements used by the smiths are as follows: an anvil, pinceers, hack-saw, rise, tongs, hammer, sledge, wrenches, claws, rasp, knife, nails, buffer, fuller punch, scorer dies, stamp, taps, travellers, compasses, iron cutter, brace and chisels.The smiths in Celbridge do not shoe cattle but only shoe horses and asses.
