    the forge. The bellows is an ordinary shaped one but of a large size. The implements used by the smiths are as follows: an anvil, pinceers, hack-saw, rise, tongs, hammer, sledge, wrenches, claws, rasp, knife, nails, buffer, fuller punch, scorer dies, stamp, taps, travellers, compasses, iron cutter, brace and chisels.
    The smiths in Celbridge do not shoe cattle but only shoe horses and asses. They don't make ploughs, harrows, picks, gates, axes and pikes;
